Make Halloween Fun for Everyone

Fall is creeping in and our excitement is about to bubble over...like a witch’s cauldron! We know we’re not the only ones anticipating autumn’s spookier side. From scaring up decor to prepping sinfully sweet treats, just getting ready for gatherings is half the party. If you’re throwing a shindig with little ones in attendance (or scaredy cats who like the lighter side of Halloween) here’s how to make it fun in 3 steps.

Step 1: Dress Up The Table

To make it frightfully fun, choose friendlier faces! Vintage-style jack-o’-lanterns will have everyone smiling back—especially if they’re filled to the brim with candy. (For max snacking capacity, we suggest the plump figural pumpkin candy bowl; it holds 100+ ounces of whatever you choose to serve!) And to set a lighthearted scene, choose The Great Pumpkin Collection featuring the Peanuts gang. The Snoopy & The Great Pumpkin candy jar makes a splendid centerpiece...especially with goodies hiding under the lid. And the accent plates and hors d’Oeuvres tray spark nostalgia with timeless illustrations of the costumed crew in pursuit of the Great Pumpkin.

Step 2: Give Treats (Don’t Play Tricks)

No celebration is complete without treats. Since you’re serving scaredy cats, you need to make them so cute it’s scary—and extra sweet. Showcase cupcakes topped with black cats, spiderwebs, and assorted spooky designs atop our wood and marble LX Collective cake plate for an utterly elevated feel. Whether they’re chocolate or vanilla, they’ll disappear in no time! And decorate your own sugar cookies with intricate black and white icing—sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike. Simply draw concentric circles, use toothpicks to pull your lines outward, and wait a few minutes while they set. (Pro-tip: Don’t worry if things aren’t perfect, it only makes the design more authentic!) Plus, spread the Halloween spirit with a handful of your personal favorite candy passed around on the adorable Snoopy treat dish.

Step 3: Lift Your Guests’ Spirits

Refreshments are a must at any gathering, and Halloween is no exception! (Especially when you’ve got guests who are bloody thirsty.) But don’t dull the mood with dark, dramatic glassware. Instead, uplift with True Colors drinkware. Filled with candies for the kids or refreshments for parents, they add a splash of color to the table. Plus, party-perfect red, orange, purple, and blue hues make it easy to know which drink belongs to you. A final touch: in the likely case someone makes a mess, dinner napkins make splatter and spills disappear, so you can focus on having fun.
