It’s all about hue—and plenty of pretties! Butterflies are drawn to bright colors and sweet nectars, so a fruit-laden and dessert-dazzled party menu is perfect. Butterfly- and flower-shaped fruits, sweet tarts, and other colorful treats are sure to tempt anyone—winged or not. You’ll also want to go big on blooms. We chose dahlias displayed in an array of colorful glasses, but any flower will do. Native wildflowers and blooming perennials like clippings from a butterfly bush would be fitting foliage for your butterfly dreamscape.
Make It Next-Level
We mean this quite literally. To make your party table really pop, give your tablescape height and the appearance of flight. Display desserts on tiered servers, and give your cake an extra boost atop a cake plate. For extra dimension and movement, we added 3D butterflies that appear to be soaring in mid-air—they’re held in place by nearly indetectable, slightly bouncy wire skewers. A backdrop of butterfly garland tied high and left to sway, plus a sprinkling of on-theme table confetti and cloth napkins folded into butterflies bring plenty of light-hearted playfulness to get your party started.
